Asphalt enamel pipe coating equipment for complete CTE/bitumen coating lines
Turn-key facilities for surface preparation, priming, coating, cooling and inspection of pipes.
Complete facilities for asphalt enamel pipe coating
Bauhuis designs and installs complete facilities for the application of asphalt enamel coatings, also known as CTE/bitumen pipe coatings. Each facility is built around the key process stages: from surface preparation and priming to coating, cooling and inspection.
Integrated process stages in one coating line
A complete asphalt enamel coating line can include pre-wash and pre-heat units, external pipe blasting and priming systems, weld seam compensation systems, a bitumen/asphalt melt plant, a coating application booth, quenching and end-treatment equipment, and inspection and quality control systems.
Surface preparation, priming and weld seam treatment
The line supports pipe preparation before the coating process starts. Typical systems include CTE primer application stations and weld seam application stations, making priming and weld seam compensation part of the integrated process.
Bitumen preparation, coating and reinforcement wrapping
For coating material preparation, the facility can be equipped with bitumen melting units. The coating stage can include coating and reinforcement wrapping booths for fiberglass and asphalt, aligned with the CTE/bitumen coating process.
Cooling, end treatment and inspection
After coating application, the line can be completed with quenching equipment, end-cleaning equipment and inspection and quality control systems. This keeps the full process from preparation to inspection within one integrated coating facility.
